Cancer is a problem throughout the world, and companies are constantly searching for new, better treatment options.  One such treatment for Lymphoma, Adcetris was recently approved by the FDA, but was found to have a possible side effect of peripheral neuropathy.  This places it with other chemotherapy medications that have been shown to cause or worsen neuropathy throughout treatment.   When you hear about chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy, Adcetris is another medication on the list that could be the cause.

If you have Lymphoma and are considering the options, Adcetris should be evaluated in a risk/benefit analysis, understanding the neuropathy may be a complication that will need to be treated afterwords....
