Peripheral Neuropathy is still a condition that is commonly misunderstood.  The goal of The Neuropathy Association is to produce greater understanding and care for neuropathy through research, education and advocacy (including support groups).  This is a great group designed for physicians, caretakers, and patients.  All suffers of peripheral neuropathy should consider joining this group.

Dr Gibson has long felt that neuropathy receives insufficient attention and often patients don't get the necessary options for treatment.  Dr Gibson, a member of the association, attended the Peripheral Neuropathy Summit in Washington DC this last weekend to learn and share in the progression and growth of understanding in peripheral neuropathy.  The door is wide open and options are being found.  What a great weekend this was!
