- Falls from heels can cause injuries elsewhere in the body (include arms, hands, and head)
Although many never fall in heels, it is important to look for heels with a more stable base, often with shorter heights, and ensure proper ankle and leg stregth for the platform being used. Remember ballet dancers go on point only when they are strong enough, to avoid injury.
