Dancing with the Stars fans have been going crazy this last month, with news that Derek Hough may not be able to come back after injuries to both of his feet in a rehearsal. He has been being treated for both a broken toe and a sprained ankle. However, this week he made the comeback that fans had been waiting for…just not necessarily in the way they expected.
Sasha Farber will now join Hough and his partner, Nastia Lukin, on the show. Since Hough is still unable to dance full out, the pairing will now become a threesome as Farber is incorporated into all of their routines.
Hough, as he talked with interviewers was uncertain about what was going to happen in the future, but he did say make it clear that he never wants to let anybody down. “I want to make sure that I fulfill my commitments…I like to keep my word and follow through. My big concern, too, was the tour this summer. That’s something I’ve been really looking forward to and I’m really, really excited about. It’s gonna be an amazing show and [to] physically do that show, I have to be in exceptional shape.”
